Habit : An ever green climber, climbing up to 21 meters with the help of aerial roots which adhere to rough surfaces. Stem may have girth up to 4-6 cm. Leaves : Alternate, entire , heart-shaped, light green, ever green or variegated with yellow strips. Inflorescence : Spathe Flowers : White or light green in color. Significance : It is very popular as house plant. It is also grown in garden on tree trunk as epiphyte. All parts of this plant are poisonous to domestic animals and pets of all kinds, as well as to humans. So avoid raising this plant in your home if you have pets or small children.
