Habit : A medium-sizedtree with light-yellowish-brown to yellowish-grey longitudinally fissured bark. Main trunk and branches are crooked with generally down-ward bending. Leaves : Opposite, digitate, leaflets generally 5, elliptic-oblong, glabrous with acute base and acuminate tip, petiolate. Inflorescence : Terminal clusters on leafless branches. Flowers : Calyx copular. Corolla infundibuliform, yellow, large up to 4-5 cm long and 2.5 cm broad on top, petal lobes 5, globose, little wavy, irregular. Flowering and Fruiting Time : March - April Significance : Ornamental in gardens and at places on road sides.
